Configuring Tips via Merchant Web Portal
This feature allows the merchant to configure tip settings through the Merchant Web so that tips can be selected and applied during the checkout process.
Step 1
Login to "Applova Merchant Web".
Step 2
Go to "Settings" and then "General" tab
Step 3
Scroll to "Plugins" and select "Tips" plugin
Step 4
A preferred tip percentage can be defined through "Tip Percentage Buttons" section. Up to five default tip percentage options can be setup which will be displayed on the checkout screen for tip selection.
Step 5
To apply one of these defined tip percentages automatically, choose a tip percentage from the dropdown menu within the "Apply a Tip by Default" section.
Step 6
To allow customers to add a tip of their choice other than the tips displayed, an input-number field can be allowed for the customers to enter a custom tip amount by enabling the toggle in "Enable Custom Tip Amount" section.
Step 7
To allow customers to add tips while paying for orders at the counter, to add tips when paying by card/ paying at the kiosk and for customers to skip tips, enable the corresponding toggles within the "Kiosk Tip Settings".
Step 8
Click on the "Save Changes" button.
