Multi-Language Support on Kiosk

Multi-Language Support on Kiosk

Notes
This is a billable feature
Multi-language support enables users to interact with the Kiosk in languages other than English, ensuring a user-friendly experience. By offering multiple language options, businesses can cater to a diverse customer base, improve accessibility, and enhance customer satisfaction. This feature is particularly beneficial in multicultural regions, allowing businesses to serve non-English-speaking customers more effectively.
Currently supported languages on Kiosk;
  1. English
  2. Spanish
  3. French

1. Multi-Language Support

1.1 Multi-Language Support (Inclusive of the Menu)

In this approach the buttons, labels and prompts will be displayed in the respective language while the menu can be displayed in both the languages.

Example:
When adding a product via Merchant Web, the merchant can add the product name and the description in Spanish along side the English name and the description as shown in the below image. Then the menu will be displayed in both English and Spanish.

1.2 Multi-Language Support (Exclusive of the Menu)

In this approach the buttons, labels and prompts will be displayed in the respective language while the menu can be displayed in English.

Example:
When all three languages (English, Spanish, French) are enabled, and the customer selects the "Spanish" button on the Welcome Screen, the menu will appear in the defined language (mostly English), while the buttons, labels, and other prompts will be displayed in Spanish.

2. Single-Language (Non-English)

In this approach the language can be changed via the device.

Example:
If a business is located in a region where Spanish is the primary language spoken, the app need to be set to display in Spanish to align with the local language preferences this method can be used. In this case, all elements of the app, including buttons, labels, and prompt messages, will be translated into Spanish. Additionally, since the menu will already be displayed in Spanish, the entire app interface will appear in Spanish.

Refer the below article on how to change the language via the device.
