How to Setup Genymotion?

Genymotion is an emulator which can be used to virtually run Applova applications such as Applova POS, Kiosk, KDS.
Before proceeding with the following steps, ensure that you have completed the steps outlined in the article linked below.

Step 1
Click on the below link.

Step 2
Download "Windows (64bit) + VirtualBox". 


Step 3
Go to the device file location where the application is downloaded and double click on "genymotion-3.7.1-vbox". 

If you are running the OS on Windows 11, then two more additional steps will have to be followed before Step 4. On the additional steps keep the values as default, press "Next" and proceed to Step 4.

Step 4
Select the checkbox as shown below and click on "Next" and proceed to "Install".

Step 5
On the Oracle VM VirtualBox 7.0.8 Setup, click on "Next". Keep the default location and then click on "Next".


Step 6
Click on "Yes" and then proceed to install.


Step 7
Then, click on "Finish".


Step 8
Once the VirtualBox installation is completed, click on "Finish" in the "Setup - Genymotion version 3.7.1" window.


Step 9
Once the "Genymotion" window appears, click on "Create Account" (It redirects to the Genymotion - Account Creation webpage).


Step 10
Fill in the required fields, and select all the checkboxes. Then click on "Create Account".
  1. Usage Type: Development and Testing
  2. Company Type: App Software Development 


Step 11
An activation email will be sent to your email address. Click on the activation link in the email to activate your account. If the account creation is successful, you will receive another email as a confirmation. 


Step 12
Go back to the "Genymotion" window, fill in the credentials and click "Next" to proceed.


Step 13
Select "Personal Use", and click on "Next". Then on the popup, click on "Agree".


Step 14
Click on "Next" again, accept the Terms and Conditions and proceed.


Step 15
Finally, the Genymotion Window will be loaded as shown below.
